Powder coating

Virtually anything exposed to weather such as sunlight and rain degrades. Powder coating also degrades over time, and the speed of this depends on various environmental and weather factors such as the number of hours of sunlight. This falls under normal degradation and is not covered by any warranty. If there is any phenomenon other than normal degradation on this powder coating, please contact us.

The warranty only applies if at least 5% of the part in question shows defects other than normal degradation. This defect must be observable by the naked eye from a distance of at least 3 metres. Any compensation under these warranty conditions is entirely at the discretion of Tuinmaximaal and the following phasing-out scheme always applies:
- within 1 year of delivery: the maximum compensation is 100% of the purchase price
- within 2 years of delivery: the maximum compensation is 80% of the purchase price
- within 3 years of delivery: the maximum compensation is 60% of the purchase price
- within 4 years of delivery: the maximum compensation is 40% of the purchase price
- within 5 years of delivery: the maximum compensation is 20% of the purchase price
- after 5 years after delivery: no compensation
