Mounting on exterior walls with insulating material
Insulation material is often used in the construction of new houses. This material is placed on the exterior walls of the house. This insulation material is often covered by a mesh with stucco or decorative plaster on top. Stone strips may also sometimes be applied on top of this. As a result, it is no longer clearly visible from the outside whether or not insulation material has been used. Is this the case with you? Then keep reading.
Are you going to assemble the veranda yourself and are your exterior walls fitted with insulation material?
Tuinmaximaal supplies your veranda with fixing materials suitable for mounting the wall profile directly on a (double-)brick wall and does not supply fixing materials suitable for mounting on a wall with insulation material. If your exterior walls are fitted with insulation material, you will need to provide the right fixing materials yourself. Check with the hardware store what fixing materials you will need to mount the veranda. Before installing a veranda on a wall with insulation material, you should check how thick the insulation material is up to the internal wall. You will usually mount the wall profile of a veranda at a height between 2.50m and 3.00m (this can also be slightly higher or lower, calculate the desired height here).
