Questions about service & warranty
You can remove light damages with a lacquer paint pen or spray can. When the part is damaged beyond repair, you can replace it. The required part can be found in our web shop via 'separate parts'.

Are you not satisfied with the handling of your complaint? Then you can submit this to the Disputes Committee via the European ODR Platform (http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
When you use parts that do not originate from Gumax®, the warranty on the Gumax® construction will expire. For instance the usage of other type roof panels, wooden support structures and other parts that were added or altered relative to the standard products of Gumax®.
Using a glass roof, you will barely experience condensate formation. When you close the veranda by use of glass sliding doors, it may so happen that condensate formation is created underneath the roof panels. This is comparable with the condensate formation on the windscreen of a car. By venting the space, for instance by opening the glass sliding doors, the condensate will vanish.
If a problem emerges with your Gumax® product during the warranty term, then contact our customer service. Together we will look for an appropriate solution. When your Gumax® product gets damaged outside the warranty term, you can perform the repairs yourself. All the required parts can be found in our web shop.
Tuinmaximaal offers a 5 year' manufacturer warranty on all Gumax® products, with the exception of moving parts and/or electrical parts. There is a 2 year warranty on the moving and/or electrical parts. This applies only when you install the products in accordance with the installation manual. If you deviate from this, the warranty will expire.
In the UK, there is a mandatory statutory warranty period of at least 2 years. Statutory warranty means that a product is or should do what the consumer can reasonably reasonably expect from it.
When your product is damaged due to storm or other weather conditions, contact your insurance. Damage arising from this falls outside the warranty of Gumax® products. The required parts for repairs (such as screws, roof panels, support structures etc.) can be ordered separately in our web shop, via 'separate parts'.
When the product of the provider meets all conditions of the lowest price guarantee, then contact our customer service. You will then receive a gift voucher of £50 to be spent in our web shop. More about our lowest price warranty you can read via our lowest price guarantee page.
Condensate may be formed on a veranda with a polycarbonate roof.
If you establish a defect and this spare part was delivered in this condition by Tuinmaximaal please don't fit this part. Take photographs of the respective part and the CE or UKCA marking on the part (if present). Send the photographs to info@tuinmaximaal.co.uk, stating your order number. Tuinmaximaal will offer a suitable solution as soon as possible. If, despite these instructions, you still fit a part which is damaged or defective, Tuinmaximaal will no longer be able to exchange it, hence Tuinmaximaal will not be able to offer a solution. If you detect a (possible) defect, take safety measures. Do not move under or near the (possibly) defective products and contact us immediately. Deviations of the products that do not prevent normal use, (such as differences in finish, gloss or minimal colour differences), do not count as defects and do not entitle you to a replacement, payment or compensation for the part concerned.
