The Gumax® aluminium sidewall is ideal for closing off one or both sides of your veranda or shelter. Transform your veranda into a sheltered space or conceal a wall or fence. The side wall has a luxurious look while providing shelter and privacy.
With or without glass wedge
Combine the aluminium pergola side panel with a glass wedge or install it over the full height of the veranda. Without a glass wedge, the sidewall forms a quiet whole, with the panels continuing up to the roof of the veranda. Moreover, this is ideal for creating more privacy. With a glass wedge, you benefit from more light on the side. If you want light coming in across the full height, you can choose a polycarbonate sidewall. This type of polycarbonate provides soft, diffused light.
Easy assembly with the twist system
Install the sidewall with the handy twist system. The panels twist together smoothly to form a strong whole. Cut the panels straight even if you do not have a glass wedge. So no hassle cutting at a slanted angle. Provide the sidewall with rubber strips for proper water drainage and finish the edges with a sealing strip for a beautiful end result. You are ready to enjoy an attractive and sheltered veranda or carport.
Installation from the inside
Do you want to place the sidewall against a fence or wall? No problem! Thanks to its clever design, you easily install the aluminium sidewall from inside the veranda. This way, you don't have to disturb the neighbours or tear down a fence. Moreover, this allows you to use the full space.

The Gumax® aluminium sidewall combines inventive design with practical benefits. The vertical panels give the wall a modern look and enhance the spacious feeling. Thanks to its clever construction, the sidewall is very user-friendly:
- The panels are easy to replace when needed.
- The rubber strips firmly clamp the panels into the frame, making the wall extra sturdy even in changing weather conditions.
- The rubber strips ensure good drainage on the outside and create a clean, finished look.
Choose and combine to suit your taste
For the sidewall frame, you have a choice of three colours: matt anthracite (RAL 7016), matt black (RAL 9005) and matt white (RAL 9016), which match the colours of the Gumax® verandas. The panels are available in two colours: matt anthracite (RAL 7016) and matt grey-beige (RAL 1019). The Gumax® Shading Panels come in the same colours, making them perfect to combine with the sidewall for a stylish whole.

Fantastic product at great prices and great customer service
After shopping around we decided to purchase our glass veranda from TuinMaximaal and fit ourselves - we were so happy with the product - delivery was slightly longer than advertised but that didn’t matter as we were still meticulously getting our ground works done.
All arrived very well packaged and the instructions were used along with installation videos on the website.
We installed on the back of a flat roof extension and had to alter the guttering to get the 8 degree pitch for 3.5 m projection but all the prep worked out and installation was seamless.
We didn’t end up hiring a lift genie and instead used acrojacks and wood to protect the surface.
The glass panels were heavy 4m x3.5 and hubby and 3 friends managed to fit them in one hour ! 3 adults to fit the glass doors - it’s now complete water tight and looks amazing.
So so happy we went with this company as the quote we had received from a competitor who didn’t offer supply only was an extra £20,000!
We also purchased the draft weather strips - please note that if you want to use weather strips and handles the handles go on the other side to weather strip.

I have recently received and installed a set of glass sliding doors from Tuimaximaal. My initial enquiry by telephone was handled by Danny in Eindhoven ( I am in the UK). That first contact was such a positive experience it made up my mind that if I was going to use this type of product then it would be from Tuinmaximaal. Danny was not in his first language but oh how I wish I could get this kind of service from a UK manufacturer, so positive, perceptive and professional. I placed my order and I simply could not fault any aspect, the service, the quality, the delivery all absolutely first class!
